What should I do if I am self-isolating with an abusive partner?
If you are experiencing abuse and are in immediate danger, you should call the police (911).
If you are experiencing abuse but are not in immediate danger, identify safe places in your home with no weapons. Ensure the safe space has an accessible escape route. If an altercation occurs, go to that safe space. Maintain constant communication with friends and family who can provide you with emotional support and can aid in case of an emergency. Furthermore, you should try to have a phone with you at all times.
