About Ian Krol

Ian is a passionate advocate who is committed to helping resolve challenging family law disputes.

Ian’s family law practice encompasses all aspects of family law including property and support claims, high-conflict custody and parenting disputes, divorce, separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and marriage contracts.

Ian prides himself on the strategic and creative solutions he develops, his strong interpersonal skills, and the practical, results-oriented legal advice he provides. While his preference is to negotiate an amicable settlement for clients where possible (directly through counsel or in alternative dispute resolution), he also advocates for clients in litigation.

Ian was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2018. Before becoming a lawyer, he graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Law & Society. Subsequently, he attended Bond University where he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a specialization in Canadian Law and Practice.
